What You’ll Be Doing As a Care Assistant, you’ll make a genuine impact every day by: * Supporting adults with their daily needs to ensure emotional, physical and social wellbeing. * Building strong, trusting relationships so each person feels safe, valued and understood. * Encouraging independence and helping people develop essential life skills. * Supporting activities at home, during education programmes, or out in the community. * Working closely with your team to tailor support to each individual’s needs. * Maintaining accurate records of progress, activities and any incidents. * Helping with day-to-day household tasks like cooking, cleaning and meal preparation. What We’re Looking For in a Care Assistant You don’t need previous care experience — just the right values and attitude. We’re looking for: * A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting others. * Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do mindset. * Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and waking nights as part of a rota. * A full UK driving licence (due to our peaceful rural location). * A willingness to learn — full training is provided! Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
