Harry's is the critically acclaimed restaurant at The Gallivant, a Michelin Key hotel on the South Coast recognised for its modern British hospitality and consistently high standards.

Led by Executive Chef Matthew Harris, Harry's has quickly established itself as a serious, food-led restaurant known for consistency, quality, and professional service.

With a second site opening next year, we are building a team of people who see hospitality as a long-term career.

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and responsibility

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

The role

We are looking for an experienced, capable supervisor who can provide senior presence on the floor and support smooth shift delivery.

Harry's is a busy restaurant operating within a year-round hotel. Service is structured, detail matters, and standards are non-negotiable. Supervisors are expected to run sections confidently, maintain pace and communication, and step into any operational position when required.

This includes hosting, running the bar, section service, and supporting weddings or corporate events as part of the wider hotel operation.

Once fully onboarded, you may be asked to take responsibility for quieter shifts, including breakfast service.

The hotel operates continuously across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no closing the doors between services. The role includes evenings, weekends, public holidays, Christmas, and New Year.

Hospitality can be demanding. It is rewarding for people who take pride in doing things properly and enjoy being part of a strong, well-run team.

What we're looking for

You will be a strong fit if you:

* Have solid experience in a quality, food-led restaurant
* Have held a senior waiter or supervisory role
* Are confident running sections and operating across floor and bar
* Demonstrate good foundations in food and wine knowledge
* Remain calm and decisive during busy services
* Take responsibility for standards and shift flow
* Are reliable and prepared to work peak hospitality periods

Supervisors at Harry's are working supervisors. This is a hands-on role requiring experience, judgement, and consistency.
