Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive Academy that is looking for an experienced First Aid Officer to join their team after the Easter Break.
The role will involve ongoing and ad‑hoc pupil assessment, liaising with local authorities and working alongside the school’s safeguarding and well‑being teams, and liaising with external agencies where required.
Responsibilities:
* Provide first aid to pupils and staff within the school.
* Maintain up‑to‑date first aid records and supplies.
* Collaborate with safeguarding and well‑being teams on health‑related incidents.
* Liaise with local authorities and external agencies as needed.
* Participate in regular first aid training and emergency drills.
Qualifications:
* First Aid at Work qualification (or higher) and an up‑to‑date First Air certificate.
* Experience working in a school setting or with young adults/pupils (preferred).
* Availability to start in April on a full‑time basis (Monday‑Friday).
* Energetic and positive outlook.
* Must have legal right to work in the UK.
* Subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
