Our team is dedicated to maintaining operational readiness through precision stock and asset management. We are now seeking a highly organised Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller to support our key sites in Andover and Sizewell ERC. Job Summary This role is critical to the success of our emergency logistics operations. The Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing stock movement, asset tracking, and equipment compliance across two strategic depot sites. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be highly proactive, and excel in maintaining robust warehouse systems and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Stock Control: Manage all stock transactions (inbound/outbound) across Andover and Sizewell ERC sites in line with KPIs. Inventory Management: Perform regular physical stock counts, update inventory systems, and forecast demand based on operational requirements. Compliance & Maintenance: Maintain inspection schedules, certifications, and ensure equipment is deployment-ready and compliant with safety standards. Data & Systems: Maintain stock databases, document packs, calibration logs, and ensure all internal systems are up to date and audit-ready. Safety & Procedures: Follow company SHEQ procedures, complete pre-start checklists, and help enforce best practices in depot safety and sustainability. Qualifications and Skills Systems Knowledge: Microsoft Excel; familiarity with barcode/manual inventory systems. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and accuracy in data handling, inventory reconciliation, and documentation. Communication: Able to communicate clearly with site teams, managers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations across locations. Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving issues independently at site level with a logical, methodical approach. Health & Safety Awareness: Prior experience working in large plant environments or high-compliance roles is advantageous. What’s in it for you?
