DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to coordinate daily logistics requirements.
What does the role entail?
* Assist management by reporting on and monitoring warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
* Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity, communicate job expectations, and ensure deadlines are safely met while maintaining standards of excellence.
* Track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, maintaining accurate records.
What do we need from you?
* Previous practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment - Essential
* Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
* Experience in preparation and distribution of volume orders
* Computer literacy with logistics software packages
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train staff
* Experience in staff development, 1-2-1 meetings, disciplinary procedures, workload management - Essential
