Health & Safety Advisor Location: Swindon Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 package An established and respected civil engineering, infrastructure, and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support their growing operations across the South West. With live sites spread throughout the region, this role offers a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including groundworks packages, S278 schemes, and wider civils infrastructure. The Role: Reporting to the HSE Manager, you’ll be responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture across all sites, ensuring full compliance with legislation and company procedures. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks Support site teams with RAMS, inductions, and incident investigations Advise on risk assessments and safe systems of work Maintain accurate records and produce H&S reports Work closely with project managers and site teams to drive best practice Requirements: NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) Experience in a similar role within civil engineering, groundworks, or construction Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site procedures Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence (travel between sites required) What’s on Offer: Salary between £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) Company vehicle or car allowance Pension, healthcare, and further benefits Long-term career development with a growing regional contractor If you're looking to join a business that values safety, quality, and its people, we'd love to hear from you.
