We are seeking a highly experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of automated food production equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical expertise, particularly with Proseal and Ravenwood machinery as well as commercial refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Maintain and service Proseal and Ravenwood machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Work on commercial refrigeration systems, including hard and soft blast chillers.
- Maintain and repair Rational ovens and other catering equipment.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and food hygiene standards.
- Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with production teams and external contractors where required.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Proseal and Ravenwood equipment.
- Experience with commercial fridges, including blast chillers (hard and soft).
Hands-on Experience With Rational Ovens & Other Asset
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Desirable
- Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Electrical/Mechanical/18th Edition).
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
