About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a key role within our organization, working under the Regional Financial Controller and closely with the Design and Construction team for the EMEA region. The role involves managing all end-to-end processes for asset companies (“assetcos”) within the region, including financial reporting and analysis for EMEA regional finance.
Main Responsibilities
* Overall financial responsibility for operating AssetCo entities within the region.
* Review and present monthly results in accordance with Group policies and timelines.
* Perform all accounting functions related to AssetCo’s, including account reconciliation and financial statements.
* Manage month-end closing and accounts.
* Conduct monthly variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
* Coordinate with the Design and Construction team for actual versus budget monitoring.
* Monitor debt covenants and manage payments.
* Handle year-end responsibilities, including financial statement preparation and audits.
* Ensure correct application of accounting policies across all entities, aligned with the Group Reporting framework.
* Collaborate with other departments on monthly draws, cash management, and tax filings.
* Support the Financial Controller as needed.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Be a visible group contact for AssetCo’s, acting as a go-to resource.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA).
* 3-4+ years of experience in a finance role.
* Strong presentation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated, problem solver, able to provide recommendations and solutions.
* Proactive, able to plan, organize, and meet deadlines independently.
* Detail-oriented, methodical, and conscientious.
* Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong quality control and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with adherence to deadlines.
