I am recruiting for a Private Equity backed housing provider who are looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing to join their leadership team on an interim basis. This role is to cover a period of sickness but is still a great opportunity to really help grow and develop the Sales and Marketing function ensuring the delivery of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and strategic marketing initiatives. Due to the speed of growth within the organisation, longer term opportunities should not be ruled out. It is essential that applicants have experience/knowledge of shared ownership sales and staircasing.
Key focuses will include:
* Design and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to optimise results
* Establish competitive pricing strategies and ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
* Ensure high levels of customer service from initial enquiries through to post-sale support
* Prepare and present regular sales and marketing performance reports to the board and senior leadership
* Manage the sales and marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI
* Create marketing collateral, brochures, and digital content that appeals to prospective buyers
* Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and content creation across all platforms
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns (both digital and offline)
* Schedule all social content
* Regularly update the website, optimising for SEO
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to ensure the company’s offerings are competitive and aligned with demand
* Evaluate customer feedback, customer research, market conditions, competitor data
* Lead and manage a team of 3
I am looking for someone who has previous experience in a Sales and Marketing Manager/Head of role with experience in house building, and/or property development; a proven track record in managing and developing a team and someone who is familiar with working in a growing SME environment. Experience of shared ownership sales and staircasing is essential.
