About the Role: The Service Manager provides advice to managers and strategic leads in relation to high-risk domestic abuse practice and legislation and is responsible for maintaining and monitoring multi-agency links through procedures and protocols, ensuring safety is central to all services for victims of domestic abuse. As Service Manager you will have responsibility for the management and effective working of the MARAC process and oversee a team of first response domestic abuse workers, IDVA’s and an education worker. About the Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience of working within a managerial role within a social care or related setting, along with experience of working to safeguard children and adults. You will be able to demonstrate skills in risk management, including the ability to identify indicators of risk and preventative actions that will address them. Above all, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about keeping children and adults safe, has a good understanding of child and adult safeguarding, domestic abuse and risk management, as well as good leadership and coaching skills.
