We are looking
for a talented Media Channel Manager. You will lead the Media Channel team responsible for the ongoing optimisation and ‘’go to market’’ strategy for the Tesco Offline media product suite and Customer Propositions at an exciting time of transformational change for the Tesco media business. You will have a passion for media and a deep media product knowledge across the portfolio with an understanding of how the media solutions sit within the broader media landscape. You will drive and deliver the channel strategy that enables the longer-term Tesco media vision. You will have excellent communication skills, with an ability to build strong networks internally, to balance objectives across teams harmoniously and build strong effective relationships with Tesco to reach our shared goals. Results driven with a strategic mindset, you will work dynamically managing multiple projects successfully whilst keeping the team focused on the broader vision and end goals.
Key accountabilities
1. Lead and inspire a high performing team of Channel experts to deliver on the Media Channel strategy that maximises revenue growth.Specifically working across our Offline channels which include Connected store solutions (POS, SAYS, Connected display, digital screens) and also Events & Propositions.
2. Reporting on Channel commercial performance and use data and insights to build effective Channel optimisation plans that will deliver growth
3. Build and land an inspiring Channel training plan for the sales team that empowers them to sell solutions maximising results
4. With a good understanding of our end to end processes from concept to delivery, working with delivery teams to ensure there are strong processes and frameworks in place that will optimise our existing solutions and launch new product
5. Oversee the ‘’go to market’’ plan for the Tesco media product transformation this year that for our Offline solutions
6. A passionate and active interest in media, with an expertise in your solutions you are a thought leader in media who is able to inspire internal and external teams on our propositions. Ability to craft compelling media narratives that inspire the sales team internally and CPG’s externally to buy into our media solutions.
What you have
7. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject
8. Strong experience of team management
9. Demonstrated ability to lead and own client relationships
10. Demonstrated ability to develop a strong sales pipeline, forecast accurately and achieve challenging quarterly and annual sales targets
11. A breadth of sales/account management experience preferably in a retail environment
