We're on the lookout for an experienced Group Credit Control Manager to keep our credit control function running smoothly, sensibly and (dare we say) enjoyably. We're a business of around 500 people - big enough to do interesting things and make a real impact, but small enough that you'll actually know the names of the people you work with (and they'll know yours).
* Leading and supporting our credit control team - setting the tone, removing blockers and keeping things moving
* Managing day‑to‑day credit control activity across the group
* Working closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to get things resolved quickly and professionally
* Keeping a sensible handle on credit limits, risk and overdue balances
* Dealing with escalations and tricky accounts when they pop up
* Improving processes where they need it (we're open to better ways of doing things)
* Solid experience in credit control, ideally in a group or multi-entity environment
* Someone who leads with common sense, fairness and clarity
* Confident communicator who can hold their own without being heavy-handed
* Organised, practical and calm under pressure
* Comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed
* You'll have room to build strong working relationships across the business
* Your input will matter - this isn't a role that gets lost in the background
* A friendly, collaborative environment where people help each other out
* A business that's large enough to be interesting, but not so big you disappear into it
