Westchester Publishing Services UK is growing to support our expanding client list. We currently have a full-time opening for an academic and trade publishing project manager.
The position is hybrid, with a requirement for 3 days per week spent on-site in our York, UK office and 2 working from home. You will be working across multiple publisher accounts and be responsible for at least 5 of your own.
Responsibilities
* Manage schedules, workflows, budgets, freelancers, and suppliers
* Copyedit and proofread to quality-check the work of freelancers and our in-house typesetting teams
* Ability to understand XML-first workflows, digital and litho publishing
Qualifications
* Minimum of two years book and journal production experience
* Prior work experience in academic publishing highly desirable
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Knowledge and ability to retain different house styles
* Excellent client-facing attitude essential

An attractive salary of £30,000 – £37,500 per annum based on experience and working package are offered.
