salary 50k to 60k plus overtime

As manager of the maintenance team you would be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing plant. This role involves overseeing all maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment installations, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and Managing the Maintenance Team:
Supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
* Developing and Implementing Maintenance Strategies:
Creating and executing preventative maintenance programs, setting maintenance schedules, and optimizing equipment performance to minimize downtime.
* Ensuring Compliance:
Enforcing safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards within the maintenance department.
* Managing Budgets and Resources:
Overseeing the maintenance budget, managing spare parts inventory, and making cost-effective decisions related to maintenance activities.
* Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and other equipment malfunctions, coordinating with other departments as needed.
* Contractor Management:
Overseeing contractors working on site, ensuring they adhere to safety and company standards.
* Continuous Improvement:
Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Technical Expertise:
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
