The Role
The school is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to support and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring technology across the school operates efficiently, supporting both academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to staff and students across the school
* Maintain hardware, software, and network systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
* Support classroom technology including interactive boards and devices
* Assist with system upgrades, installations, and maintenance
* Manage user accounts and permissions
* Ensure systems are secure and compliant with safeguarding standards
Requirements
* Experience in an IT support role (education desirable)
* Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
