You will manage and mentor a capable team comprising three Solicitors and a Licensed Conveyancer, overseeing a varied and stimulating caseload. The work includes a broad range of residential property matters (freehold and leasehold), complex transactions for developer clients, and elements of commercial property and landlord and tenant work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling a full range of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold matters
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and related legal documentation
* Carrying out searches and liaising with all relevant parties
* Advising and negotiating on behalf of clients throughout the process
* Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring all transactions comply with legal requirements
* Building strong relationships with clients, agents, and stakeholders
Experience and Skills Requirements:
* Minimum of 8 years’ PQE in residential and/or commercial property
* Strong leadership qualities and team management experience
* Excellent technical skills across freehold and leasehold transactions
* Confidence in handling complex conveyancing matters independently
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
* Demonstrable commitment to high standards of client care
