Job Title: Youth Club Manager
Overview
Our client is seeking a passionate Youth Club Leader to run their established club. You’ll lead the youth team, create safe and engaging activities, champion young people’s voices, and help them influence the future. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the heart of the community.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young people
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, managing safeguarding processes, case reviews, and referrals appropriately
* Design, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of activities and experiences that inspire participation and personal development
* Champion young people’s voices within the community, ensuring they are actively involved in shaping projects and influencing decision making
* Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations, schools, and wider networks to expand opportunities for young people
* Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting
* Contribute to funding bids and support the sustainability of youth programmes
* Play a collaborative role by supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider mission
Skills, Experience and Training Requirements
* Extensive experience in youth work, supported by a youth work qualification or equivalent
* Proven ability to design, develop and manage youth projects or programmes
* In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, including the Children Act
* Experience handling complex cases with resilience and professionalism
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young people and build positive relationships
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including budgeting and reporting
* A genuine passion for social enterprise, youth empowerment, and community-led projects
* Desirable experience in writing and securing small-scale funding bids
