35 hours per week.

At Ridgemount Banstead are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents living with dementia. This role is vital in promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents through person-centred care and meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
2. Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met
3. Support residents with daily activities and social interaction to enhance wellbeing
4. Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
5. Maintain accurate records of care delivered and observations
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
7. Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety standards
8. Create a safe, clean, and homely environment for residents

What We’re Looking For:

9. Experience in elderly care
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
12. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
13. Willingness to learn and undertake training (, dementia care, manual handling)

Ridgemount in Banstead is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 66 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.

14. Ridgemount is located just 2min walking distance from Banstead Town Centre where bus stops are located. Area is nice and quiet. We have on-site parking where staff can park their cars as well
15. We support are colleagues with a process that includes arranging regular and frequent meetings to review their work and to provide development and support along their way climbing up that ladder to better themselves. Staff recognition is important in Ridgemount & rewarded each month for staff members going that extra mile in the workplace with employee of the month schemes
16. We have been awarded Anchor Inspires Award. Staff and Residents have worked together by planning and then implementing the changes to environment
