Job Summary
We’re looking to add a new employee to be located ideally in the UK or possibly in other locations.
Summary:
The author will be responsible for creating methods of procedures for project and Critical Power Services (CPS) tasks undertaken by the company’s employees. Documentation will be created using Microsoft Word and issued in Adobe PDF formats. Typical tasks include product assembly, modification, testing, and servicing. Clear communication will be maintained with project management, CPS operations management, and Health and Safety teams in the UK and Ireland during the authoring process, with workload managed to meet schedules. This role offers variety from day to day.
What a typical day looks like:
* Generate Method of Procedure documentation.
* Manage workload effectively to deliver documentation on time.
* Engage positively in developing company documentation production systems.
* Build and maintain relationships with key internal personnel.
* Assist in employee training, development, and engagement.
The experience/qualification we’re looking to add to our team:
* Education - A minimum of GCSE English Grade 6 (formerly grade B) or equivalent.
* Excellent personnel management and communication skills.
* A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.
* Proactive with problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
* High attention to detail.
* An understanding of risks associated with electrical engineering tasks.
* Proficient in electrical engineering drawings.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
Working knowledge of Power Switchgear and Controlgear assemblies would be considered advantageous.
