About the Role
The position is offered on a permanent full‑time basis, working 40hrs per week at HMP Forest Bank, Pendlebury, Salford, Greater Manchester. The role involves delivering engaging Maths lessons, supporting learners with a range of abilities, conducting assessments, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Achieve performance and quality targets.
* Produce accurate and timely reporting.
* Demonstrate positive team working.
* Conduct assessments and support learning of individuals and groups.
* Work with learners of varying abilities.
* Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Create stimulating, vibrant learning environments that motivate learners.
* Maintain a good track record of achieving quality targets.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification.
* Commitment to obtain an outstanding qualification within 12 months.
* Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Experience in prison education or similar settings is desirable.
