Salary: £32,016 – £35,412
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Full-Time, All Year Round

🏫 About the School:
This newly established specialist SEMH school supports Key Stage 2-4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). It is a nurturing and inclusive setting focused on creating a safe and empowering environment where young people can grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and thrive. The school is designed to provide strong pastoral and academic support, ensuring that every pupil is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
🧩 About the Role:
1. Work closely with safeguarding and welfare teams to provide guidance and practical support to families
2. Liaise with parents and carers to address barriers to learning, attendance, and engagement
3. Support pupils’ emotional well-being, social development, and learning engagement
4. Collaborate with staff and external agencies to deliver consistent support and positive outcomes for children
5. Contribute to a warm, inclusive environment that encourages both pupils and families to feel supported and empowered
What the Role Requires:
6. GCSEs in Maths and English (level 9-4 / level 2)
7. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, Social Work, Family Support, or Teaching and Learning
8. Significant experience planning and delivering support to vulnerable families
9. Excellent communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills
10. Ability to work collaboratively with families, school staff, and external agencies
Eligibility Requirements:
11. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
12. Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
13. Provide two professional child-related references
14. Confident in communicating with pupils, families, and colleagues in accurate spoken English
