HGV Workshop Supervisor - Job Overview
In this role, you'll oversee a small team of highly experienced HGV Technicians working on a variety of trailers, tractor units, and a modern HGV fleet.
You'll be responsible for Health & Safety, compliance, and the overall management of workshop operations.
You'll manage external maintenance and MOT providers, ensuring the fleet is readily available for use while minimising costs and damages.
Although only a small part of the role, you will occasionally be required to lead from the front and assist the fitters with hands-on maintenance.
HGV Workshop Supervisor - Job Requirements
Experience supervising or managing within an HGV workshop environment - Essential
HGV engineering / mechanic background - Essential
Strong knowledge of vehicle and fleet compliance - Essential
HGV driving licence - Desirable
Engineering / Mechanical qualifications - Desirable
HGV Workshop Supervisor - Salary & Benefits
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE
Monday to Friday (day shift)
20 days holiday + bank holidays
