Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Analyse and troubleshoot mechanical systems, processes, and machinery to identify areas for improvement. Implement process changes, ensuring smooth integration and minimising downtime. Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing. Manage and optimise the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring all are maintained and functioning to their full potential. Provide technical support for production teams and assist with training in new manufacturing processes and technologies. Oversee and lead projects related to equipment installation, process improvements, and new product introductions. Monitor performance metrics, track project milestones, and report to senior management. Assist in cost reduction initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and reducing waste. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally with a mechanical background in a similar industrial environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with process simulation tools is highly desirable. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. A proactive and results-driven attitude, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
