About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury high end low volume client based in Surrey
They are looking for a Fleet Paint Technician Consultant to join their team working 5 days onsite
Job Description
* Requirement to work with client press fleet management team to maintain the standards of the fleet vehicles.
* Repairs will vary from detailing, smart spot repairs to uplift complete rebuild resprays.
* Spray booth and tools will be provided based on client site
* Must be fully trained, qualified and have demonstrated trade experience to complete paint repairs unsupervised
* Successful applicant will be expected to manage own workload planning and manage paint/ consumable accounts against set budgets.
* Manage quotes, estimates and job hours reporting.
* Ensure safe working practices at all times and the correct use of PPE.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Previous experience with client or other premium brands paint essential
* Qualified in paint spraying and repair of vehicles
* The successful applicant would ideally be skilled in panel preparation, filler work, spray painting and polishing.
* Understanding of panel surface quality requirements that could affect final paint finish.
* Identifying resolutions for product related issues, ensuring quality targets are achieved
* Implementation of safe working practices
