Full-time Permanent Posts(required for September 2025): Post 1: Head of Technology and Design/Engineering Post 2: Teacher(s) of KS3 and GCSE Science (with the ability to teach at least one of the following to A-level Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Life and Health Science) Post 3: Teacher of Mathematics to A-level Post 4: Teacher of Technology and Design/Engineering to A-level Full-time Temporary Posts (required for September 2025): Post 5: Teacher(s) of Religious Education to A-level (Maternity Cover) Post 1 Head of Technology and Design/Engineering The Governors seek to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher to lead and manage the above curriculum area. The successful candidate must be able to motivate and work well with pupils and staff and demonstrate the commitment and ability to enhance the curriculum area within the school. This post to be paid at the second level of teaching allowance. Essential Criteria (Post 1): Qualified Teacher, registered with the GTCNI and recognised by the Department of Education to teach at second level; Honours Degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent in the required subject(s) or Bachelor of Education Degree with the required subject(s) as the main component; Five years experience in teaching Technology and Design at second level which should have included the teaching of GCSE and two years experience teaching the subject to A-level. Essential Criteria (Teaching Posts 2 to 5): Qualified Teacher, registered with the GTCNI and recognised by the Department of Education to teach at second level (by September 2025); Honours Degree or equivalent in the required subject(s) or Bachelor of Education Degree with the required subject(s) as the main component.
