About the Role As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting pupils through the final year of Key Stage 1, helping them prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. You will deliver well-structured lessons, monitor progress, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and personal development. Key responsibilities include: * Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum * Using formative and summative assessment to identify needs and support pupil progress * Creating a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment * Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential * Contributing to the wider school community, including school events and enrichment activities Person Specification The ideal candidate will be a reflective, enthusiastic professional with strong subject knowledge and a child-centred approach.
