Job Overview

This role works collaboratively with the Assessment Accessibility Team and wider colleagues to support ongoing improvements in accessible assessment design and reasonable adjustments, in line with best practice and our organisational EDIB (equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging) strategy. It helps ensure candidates with diverse needs, including SEND, have access to a fair and valid assessment experience. As part of this role, you will:


Responsibilities

* Support the team with practical tasks that contribute to more accessible and inclusive assessments,
* Help review and suggest improvements to assessment design, with attention to language, contexts and presentation,
* Assist with research, analysis and background work to inform accessibility improvements and guidance drafting,
* Help respond to routine queries and support ongoing projects related to access arrangements and modified papers,
* Contribute to working groups, meetings and shared resources, gaining hands‑on experience of collaborative practice within a large international organisation.


Key Dates

* 30th March – 10th April: After submitting your application, there will be a selection period where we review all candidates.
* 4th – 15th May: You can expect to hear from us with an application update, and if you're successful, be invited to interview.
* 18th – 29th May: You can expect an update on your interview, if you're successful you will receive a placement offer. We will ask for acceptance responses by 29th May.


Qualifications

* An interest in education, accessibility and inclusion, with a genuine commitment to fairness and a willingness to learn about supporting learners with diverse needs.
* Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to managing information, documentation and tasks accurately.
* The ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple tasks, and prioritise work when supporting competing activities or deadlines.
* Confidence working both independently and collaboratively with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with a range of colleagues.
* A positive, flexible attitude, with curiosity, openness to feedback and motivation to develop new skills and follow established processes.
* A responsible and professional approach to work, recognising the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and consistency when supporting assessment‑related activity.

You are motivated by fairness, accessibility and inclusion in education, with a genuine interest in reducing barriers so all learners can demonstrate what they know and can do. You value collaboration, are open to learning, and want your work to have a positive impact.
