We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team at Denmead Day Care. You will play a vital role in helping children grow, learn, and flourish during the most important years of their development.
What You'll Do:
* Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5, following the EYFS framework
* Plan and deliver engaging activities to promote curiosity and creativity
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding care and education
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
* A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
* A warm, caring, and positive attitude
* Knowledge of Prevent Duty and British Values (training can be provided if not)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Full Pediatric First Aid Certificate (training can be provided if not)
