JOB TITLE: Professional Technical Trainer
LOCATION: Remote UK based Flexible Working with travel as required
TYPE: Fixed Term for 18 months, Full - time (37.5 hrs per week)

Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Professional Technical Trainer to join the team. The Professional Technical Trainer teaches basic classes for employees in support of the company's products, applications and systems to train and provide continual learning for employees.
Essential Job Functions
1. Teaches basic classes, both on-site and on-line, for the company's applications and systems which may include lectures and/or hands-on sessions.
2. Assists in writing training material from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation to support training. Reviews with senior level trainers and/or engineering, technical support, and/or applicable area to ensure that material is accurate and reflects current product features.
3. Gathers and summarizes course evaluations to provide data for review by senior level trainers to determine the effectiveness of training.
4. Assists in the review of external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase.
5. Gains proficiency in and remains informed of applicable company products.
Basic Qualifications
6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
7. Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or related field preferred
8. Three or more years of technical training experience
9. Experience working with company software, systems, applications and network products
10. Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures for both on-site and on-line presentations

12. Presentation skills to train and educate employees on technical material and applications
13. Basic interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees
14. Comprehension skills for understanding products and applying knowledge to presentation
15. Personal computer and business solutions software skills

17. Organization and time management skills
18. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
19. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
21. Ability and desire to actively pursue learning opportunities in the technical/engineering and training fields
22. Ability to understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources
23. Willingness to travel
