Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Technology Services Technician as part of the Connect Plus Services (CPS) team based in Dartford.
This role involves carrying out maintenance and fault/failure rectification activities on various M25 motorway equipment, including CCTV, ERT, MIDAS, RCC, NTIS, SVD Traffic Signal, Message signs, and signal equipment.
As a Technology Services Technician, you will ensure that technology systems are maintained and repaired according to contractual requirements and timescales.

What you'll be doing
* Adhere to 'Zero Harm' safety processes at all times.
* Provide a customer-focused, service-oriented approach to work.
* Ensure systems are maintained and repaired within contractual requirements through efficient and effective work practices.
* Accurately capture and enter NH Service Now data.
* Attend faults, knockdowns, etc., and carry out reactive maintenance, including reinstatement of sites, cables, and equipment damaged by others.
* Perform fault/failure rectification and maintenance duties, including out-of-hours maintenance within response times.
* Ensure all faults are repaired within contract timescales.
* Carry out all planned maintenance within contract timescales.
* Manage employer's stores, ensuring all stock is properly booked in and out.
* Maintain the communication infrastructure to standard.
* Report any health and safety concerns immediately to your line manager.
* Manage time and vehicle resources efficiently while on the network.

* Recognized Electronic or Technology Qualifications or Apprenticeship
* IT literate
* Card holder or trained in:
* MEWPS
* NHSS8 Certification
* Traffic Management
* Confined spaces
* CSCS Safety Card
