In your role as Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring robust financial management and compliance. You will lead on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis. You will also manage a part-time Finance Assistant and work closely with senior leadership and board members. Key responsibilities include: Managing payroll and HR-related financial processes Producing monthly management accounts and KPIs Preparing quarterly finance reports for subcommittees and board meetings Leading budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning Overseeing VAT returns, reconciliations, and fixed asset reporting Managing stock control and supplier contracts Administering Gift Aid submissions and investment records Ensuring HMRC compliance and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting charity commission reporting and financial updates to the senior management team You’ll also play a key role in upholding the organisation’s values, fostering a positive team culture, and contributing to continuous improvement across financial operations. What You Will Need to SucceedYou will be immediately available for work and have your own transportation due to the location.
