Overview
Randstad C&P are working with a Global FM client to onboard a Mobile Mechanical Engineer in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity covering commercial properties across Leeds and surrounding areas. The main working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical building services, including general maintenance and inspections, and addressing immediate faults and defects.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant.
* Respond to and complete reactive maintenance tasks.
* Carry out legionella control and monitoring activities.
* Use CAFM systems to manage and close out work tickets.
* Work with subcontractors, ensuring their work is monitored and carried out to a high standard.
* Prepare and use method statements and risk assessments for all tasks.
* Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
Requirements
* Around five years of experience as a mechanical engineer in a facilities management environment.
* City and Guilds - Mechanical Engineering Services NVQ Level 2 or higher.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication, IT, and report-writing skills, as you\'ll deal with staff, clients, and subcontractors.
* Must be able to pass a DBS check.
