We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker - Higher level to complement our welcoming multi-disciplinary team within Eye Outpatients Department at The Friarage Hospital.
Please note if you do not have the qualifications or experience marked as essential for a Band 3 role, you will be appointed at a Band 2.
Band 2 requirements - willingness to undertake all relevant training and qualifications if wishing to develop into a band 3 role.
Band 3 requirements - Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 or GCSE equivalent (A-C/ 4-9)
Care certificate
Level 3 vocational qualification
Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties
Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;

- The department currently offers a range of services for adult patients accessing the service for elective and acute treatment. The successful candidate will be based at Friarage Hospital Eye OPD and occasionally may be asked to work across sites at our Eye OPD James Cook University Hospital, delivering safe, effective, high quality care to our patients.
