Are you eager to start a career within property? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Property Manager to join a successful estate agents based in Liverpool City Centre. This role has become available due to company growth and expansion, full training will be provided for this role.
Full UK Driving license is required for this role.
Property managers are responsible for overseeing the day to day running of tenanted properties, this includes dealing with maintenance requests, renewal of tenancies, periodic inspections of properties, conducting move in and move out inventories, dealing with deposit returns / disputes.
Duties include but limited to;
1. Ensure that all move out paperwork is completed in a timely manner, sent to the landlord with recommendations for deductions and further works as appropriate and then chased within the required deposit return timelines as we all as communicating and keeping the tenant always updated.
2. Ensure that the properties are ready for occupation prior to move in dates to minimise disruptions to tenants
3. Ensure all maintenance requests are dealt with in a timely manner, keeping both landlords and tenants up to date.
4. Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed on time
5. Ensure that deposits are returned within the required timescales, and that deposits are de-registered on the ‘Tenancy Dispute Service’ website whilst also ensuring that only deposits we are physically holding are registered to ensure minimal cost to the department.
6. Conduct mid-term inspections on properties
7. Conduct moves in and move out inventories
Experience, desirable but not essential:
8. Customer service experience
9. Strong communication skill
10. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages
11. Eager to learn
