Description
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment and machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults promptly and effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
* Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimise downtime.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Technician should have:
* A relevant qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in maintenance within the manufacturing or similar industry.
* Experience in CNC machining (3axis)
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
Job Offer
* £45,000 to £50,000 DOE
