THE ROLE As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across Production, Manufacturing, and Automation departments. Your responsibilities will include: * Delivering expert electrical and mechanical support to maintain cutting-edge systems. * Performing electrical installations in compliance with the highest safety standards. * Conducting mechanical maintenance and installations, adhering to strict safety and isolation protocols. * Managing facility maintenance and collaborating with contractors to drive service improvements. * Following a planned maintenance schedule while supporting daily Production and Moulding operations. * Applying basic PLC programming skills to fine-tune systems. * Leading innovative energy-saving initiatives to boost efficiency. * Maintaining automation equipment and resolving system breakdowns using a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach. You We’re looking for a proactive and skilled professional with: * Qualifications: HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * Certifications: Ideally qualified to the 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. * Experience: Practical knowledge or hands-on experience in small-scale building projects (e.g., plumbing, boiler, or heating systems). * Skills: Basic PLC programming knowledge and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
