Technical Support Engineer – Boilers & Renewables
Office based in Lisburn.
Job Overview
The role involves providing technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for central heating products, as well as supporting internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Provide first‑line technical support for a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps.
* Field inbound telephone queries and provide appropriate solutions.
* Offer technical support to internal stakeholders.
* Carry out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers.
* Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
* Experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
* Knowledge of renewables, heat pumps, and air‑sourced heat pumps is ideal, but not required.
* Background or interest in engineering, installation, technical support, or related roles.
* Positive telephone manner with the ability to resolve customer queries professionally.
* IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Stable career history.
Salary and Benefits
Basic salary: £40,000 – £45,000
