Position Summary
Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight to the business. You’ll work closely with operational teams, contributing to decision‑making through meaningful analysis, while gaining exposure across both FP&A and core financial processes in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Principal Responsibilities
* Partner with the FP&A team and wider business to deliver clear, insightful financial analysis.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and the annual operating plan.
* Assist in evaluating new product initiatives through investment appraisal and business case analysis.
* Develop and enhance sales and margin reporting, including supporting BI system implementation.
* Provide insight to support inventory management, including excess and obsolete stock analysis.
* Contribute to monthly performance reporting, helping explain key drivers and variances.
* Support month‑end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reviews.
* Collaborate across the FP&A function to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) to enhance efficiency and insight.
* Support audit requirements and standard costing processes.
Qualifications / Experience / Training
* Part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
* Strong Excel skills with a keen interest in data.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Some exposure to a manufacturing environment is ideal although not essential.
