As a Registered Nurse (Band 4), youll be an integral part supporting some of our most vulnerable patients and planning care for people with complex and challenging health needs.
The post holder will have completed Nursing Associate training and be registered with the NMC, working independently under the leadership of registered nurses, within the sphere of nursing and care, and within all aspects of the nursing process.
Responsibilities
* Provide continuing care to patients across the practice population.
* Perform ECG.
* Perform phlebotomy and urinalysis.
* Assessment and planning of delegated care.
* Monitor chronic conditions and well‑being of patients, including escalation of interventions when necessary.
* Administer injections where necessary, in accordance with regulatory guidelines for Nursing Associates.
* Assist with the implementation and monitoring of clinical care and monitor outcomes.
* Contribute to ongoing assessment, recognising when it is necessary to refer to others for reassessment.
* Be able to perform cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation according to current UK guidelines.
* Ensure infection control guidelines are maintained.
* Communicate effectively with other members of the primary health‑care team.
