Warehouse Office AdministratorLocation: Melton (near Hull) HU14 3HJSalary: £25,683.39 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per weekShift Pattern: 2pm–10pm, one weekend on / one weekend offBenefits: 30 days annual leave, pension, 24/7 employee assistance programme, online GP access for you and your family, 10% staff discount at Heron Foods & B&MAbout the RoleWe're looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Office Administrator to join our team at the Melton Distribution Centre. You'll play a key part in ensuring our stores receive accurate, timely deliveries and that our logistics operation runs smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder coordination - Manage the shops' ordering process, dispatch orders and maintain the order queue.Despatch administration - Issue loading tickets, create dispatch notes and allocate trucks/trailers.Logistics problem-solving - Reroute deliveries, support with vehicle issues and keep operations moving.Store communication - Update stores on delivery schedules and resolve any queries.Operational support - Assist loading and picking teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.What We're Looking ForStrong IT skills including Excel, Outlook and Word.Experience in administration or logistics is helpful but not essential.Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Full UK driving licence required due to travel between sites.What We Can Offer You30 days annual leave with additional long-service accrual, plus option to buy extra days.24/7 online GP access for you and your family (partner and children up to age 21).10% discount at Heron Foods & B&M, plus double-discount weekends.Wellbeing support via Smart Health.Access to BenefitHub for discounts on everyday purchases, eating out, days out and more.Ongoing learning and development through on-the-job training, eLearning or apprenticeships.Reward and recognition schemes, including long-service celebrations.Heron Foods has been a trusted name since 1979, offering top-brand groceries at low prices.
