An established business based in Wisbech are working in collaboration with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Key Account Manager.
The business are looking to hire someone who can develop new accounts as well as aiding in maintaining the standard with existing customer accounts. The role will be a blend of creating a strategy of customers to target, as well as following up on the high number of leads & enquiries the business receives. You will be expected to create a sales and development plan that uses your knowledge and skills to maximise sales opportunities, along with having the full support of the wider sales team.
Key day to day duties to note are:
* Building new relationships via new leads coming through to the business
* Seek out new sales opportunities through a combination of methods, including networking, trade shows, social media and direct contact (phone or otherwise).
* Negotiate/close deals
* Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
* Attendance at events, exhibitions and trade shows where relevant
* Organise meetings with potential clients, positioning new products and services
* Plan and carry out direct marketing to current and new customers.
* Order processing
* Ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date
* Working towards targets & KPI's
