We’re looking for a dynamic Operational Risk Manager to join a growing risk function within a leading financial services organisation. With a key focus on procurement due diligence, outsourcing, and third-party risk, this is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our business resilience and supplier governance. Key Responsibilities: Lead the operational risk oversight of procurement processes, ensuring robust supplier due diligence and risk assessments are embedded in decision-making. Manage and continuously improve the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, ensuring effective identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of third-party and outsourcing risks. Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Business Units to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations (e.g. FCA, PRA) related to outsourcing and operational resilience. Conduct thematic risk reviews and support ongoing risk assessments, scenario analysis, and incident management. Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders on emerging risks and best practices in third-party governance. Line manage, coach, and develop a Risk Analyst, ensuring effective delivery of operational risk reporting and analysis. Support the wider Risk team in delivering the annual risk plan and maturing the enterprise risk management framework. About You: Proven experience in operational risk management within financial services. Strong knowledge of procurement, outsourcing, and third-party risk, including due diligence and regulatory compliance. Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA SYSC, PRA SS2/21, EBA guidelines on outsourcing). Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in a collaborative way. Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills. Experience in line management or mentoring is highly desirable. On Offer: Up to £65,000 annual salary benefits package.
