Description We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our European Aftermarket team, specialising in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems in Redditch, United Kingdom. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Driving seamless end‑to‑end order execution by managing the full order life cycle to ensure accurate, timely fulfilment for assigned customer accounts. Serving as a trusted single point of contact for customers, resolving order processing, scheduling, and shipping queries with clarity and confidence. Providing consultative guidance on lead times, availability, policies, and minor technical questions to help customers make informed decisions. Managing escalations to closure by taking ownership of issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Demonstrating exceptional customer support through empathy, professionalism, and proactive communication at every stage of the order life cycle. Collaborating cross‑functionally with production, planning, materials, sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain accurate order flow and support financial targets. Enhancing departmental processes by documenting best practices, improving communication standards, and contributing to a more proactive, customer‑centric operation. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, participating in projects, and contributing insights that elevate service quality.
