CVP are recruiting for a Returns Supervisor to work in our busy and expanding operation.
The overall purpose of the role is to support the customers and warehouse operations teams through the effective management of the returns and administration processes in dealing with returned goods on a timely and accurate basis.
The successful candidate will join the Returns team, where they will be responsible for processing returned products originating from both e-commerce and account sales channels. Items may be returned for various reasons, including incorrect ordering, unsuitability, damage or defects, or changes in customer requirements. The role also encompasses support for CVP auctions and the provision of absence cover across office departments as required. Additionally, the position involves a range of administrative duties to support departmental operations including:
· Creating returns jobs (RMAs – return materials authorisations) and issuing RNs (returns numbers)
· Booking jobs into the system
· Issuing credits and refunds for customers
· Booking couriers/freight companies (to pick up returns and to send items back to customers as appropriate)
· Accurately entering details of return into CVP's internal service and database system
· Liaising with customers regarding returns jobs throughout the process and keeping them informed of progress (over email and phone predominantly)
· Liaising with suppliers/manufacturers
· Liaise with engineering team regarding technical returns
* Chasing up suppliers where missing items/products have been reported
* Liaising with accounts team where necessary
* Scheduling vendor returns
* Special projects as assigned
* Assisting in stock takes
Desired skills and core attributes:
· Capable of delivering staff training and providing ongoing support
· Previous customer support administration experience beneficial
· Previous returns/warehousing administration experience would be beneficial
· Personable and friendly.
· Computer literacy
· Well-organised, able to multitask.
· Efficient and friendly telephone manner
· Confident approach-able to adapt to a wide range of people and situations
· Flexible, so can deal with ad-hoc administrational tasks.
· Enthusiasm and Self-Motivation
· Listening skills

Salary/Remuneration
The salary for this position is £32,000 per annum.
