An exciting opportunity has opened for three On‑Board Hosts to join our team at Norwich Station.
Please note that we are unable to accept your application if you do not meet the following criteria.
* Youwill be working an average of 35 hours per week over 5 days. This role is shift-based and includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holiday working.
* Earliest shift is from 0530, and latest shift finishes at 0200.
* You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts.
* Applicants must beover18 years of age
* Employment is subject to Right to Work and DBS checks, and where applicable,a medical assessment
* Salary progression: starting £23,052, £23,558, after 6 months, £24,464 after 12 months, rising to £25,435 at 18 months, to finally £25,471 per annum at 2 years.

The key focus of this role is the retailing of Food and Drink on-board our trains between Norwich and Liverpool Street, from either the Cafe Bar or via an At-Seat Trolley Service.
You will use your skills to drive sales and provide a high level of Customer Service as part on an On-Board Team and in addition to service, duties will include providing information and assistance to passengers and some light cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales & Service: Drive sales of food and drink from our Cafe Bar or through an At-Seat Trolley Service, ensuring a great experience for all passengers.
* Customer Engagement: Provide effective customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and inquiries during their journey.
* Information Assistance: Offer timely and accurate information to ensure passengers feel supported and informed throughout their travel experience.
* Cleanliness & Maintenance: Carry out light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment on board.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to create a positive atmosphere and enhance the overall service quality.

* Are calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situations
* Possess a “can-do” attitude and enjoy working as part of a team

* Have team spirit and bring your unique self to strengthen our team and foster a positive work environment.
* This role can be physically demanding, and applicants will need to be able to move a trolley through the train.
* Experience in a Customer Service environment is desirable however full training will be provided

With a team of around 3,000 colleagues, we operate 134 stations throughout Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
