Key Duties/Responsibilities


* Diary management for the CEO of JD’s Outdoors Estate
* General administration duties for the CEO – I.e. typing, filing etc.
* Responsible for all UK and International travel as and when required.
* Maintain all holidays’ requests and absences.
* Responsible for monitoring all cost centre charges and ensuring all information is correct and charge to the correct cost centre.
* Booking meetings both internally and externally.
* Responsible for the organisation of all new employee stationary and equipment i.e. company laptop/phone/PC.
* Ensuring staff expenses are recording and submitted on time.
* Responsible for ordering and returning of foreign currency for all overseas travel.
* Responsible for ensuring all DHL orders are collected and distributed accordingly to the relevant teams.
* Be the main point of contact for all IT and Maintenance queries.
* Responsible for the distribution of all invoices for the accounts department to ensure they are distributed to the correct departments accordingly.
* Dealing with both e-mail and phone queries from both customers and suppliers.
* Provide cover for other PA’s when necessary.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed

* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous.
* Previous experience working with Directors/Senior Management is advantageous, however, not essential.
* Willingness to make working relationships both internally as well as externally.
