Description

It's an exciting time to join the Finance team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers, and streamline and automate our business processes.

We're looking for a positive and influential finance professional who'll manage the tracking and reporting of key finance transformation initiatives across the AXA UK Finance function and as part of the AXA Group-wide transformation strategy. You'll work closely with the Finance ELT, key UK project and finance teams, and Group leads to ensure the accurate reporting of the Finance Strategy.

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home in the office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. 'Away from home' means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:

1. Compile and submit regular initiative tracking and financial reporting to AXA Group. Provide project status reports to Change Boards, Steering Committees, and other key stakeholders locally.
2. Ownership of overall business case financials, maintaining core excel models, and acting as the key point of contact for data queries and adjustments.
3. Engage effectively and manage relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors to develop knowledge of project goals and ensure overall tracking is complete and aligned.
4. Deliver clear and effective written and verbal communications on aspects within the remit of the role.
5. Represent Finance on AXA UK & AXA Group working parties, Steering Committees, and project meetings as required.
6. Support the Finance implementation manager with ad hoc activities including detailed analysis, coordination of transformation activities, and preparation for stakeholder meetings.

What you'll bring:

* Excellent project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail to effectively manage complex reporting processes with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, version control, and governance to coordinate multiple inputs from different stakeholders through iterative reporting and tracking.
* Excellent presentational skills both written and verbal to deliver high-quality outputs for senior stakeholders.
* Finance qualification and/or previous experience working within a finance function, with an understanding of key finance processes and structures to navigate across Finance teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiating, to create and leverage effective networks.
* Good understanding of the wider insurance or financial markets is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to adapt your approach to each stakeholder according to the situation, maintaining trust by always being open and honest, and putting the customer first.
* As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
