Job Description
Provide efficient clerical support to all employees within the establishment and assist in delivering effective front-line service to users. Contribute to the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update if already a member, before a formal employment offer can be made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent, part-time, term-time position based at Kilmarnock Academy, Kilmarnock. The hours are 17.5 per week, scheduled as follows:
1. Week 1: Wednesday 8am - 3:45pm, Thursday 8am - 3:15pm, Friday 8am - 3pm
2. Week 2: Monday & Tuesday 8am - 3:45pm
The full-time salary range is £24,333 - £25,353 per annum. The part-time salary range is proportionally adjusted to £10,435 - £10,872 per annum. For more information, contact Elaine Wilson at elaine.wilson2@east-ayrshire.gov.uk.
