Job Role: Vehicle Mechanic Location: Derby, Derbyshire Salary: £30,000-£50,000 per annum Hours: 8:00-17:30 Monday-Friday 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00-13:00 Job Type: Full time, Permanent The package: £30,000-£50,000 salary per annum – dependent on experience Pension Scheme Ongoing commitment to training and progression Discount Scheme and healthcare plan Committed to ongoing training and development 28 Days Annual Leave (Including Public Holidays) The Duties: To carry out maintenance, service and repair on an array of class 4 & 7 motors vehicles. Clutches changes, gearbox replacements, wheel alignment, engine fault finding and repair alongside general motor works To work closely with fellow mechanics and site members to ensure time frames for repairs are communicated clearly alongside quoting customers effectively. Attend company training and development where necessary To work alone and as part of a team Requirements: Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic working on class 4/7 vehicles for a minimum of 3 years Relevant qualifications (Motor Vehicle repair & maintenance etc NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds) would be advantageous but NOT essential Team player and open for growth & development Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
