THE ROLE – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE TEACHER
The school is seeking a motivated, well-qualified and inspirational Health & Social Care Teacher to join its successful and supportive Social Science Department. You will deliver Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, making this an ideal opportunity for both newly qualified teachers and experienced practitioners who wish to teach BTEC or A-Level content.
The ability to offer Psychology or Sociology alongside Health & Social Care would be an advantage (but not esential). This role is to cover an absence within the department.
You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, inspire learners, and contribute fully to the continued development and success of the Social Science team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
To be considered, you must:

Hold QTS, QTLS, or be an Overseas Trained Teacher with qualifications recognised by UK NARIC.

The School will consider Unqualified Teachers

Demonstrate the ability to engage, motivate and challenge students.

Show commitment to maintaining high standards of achievement and contributing to a progressive department.
